Sammy Miller & The Congregation
Music of 1973 – 50 Years Later

Led by GRAMMY-nominated drummer Sammy Miller, this seven-piece band is on a mission, crisscrossing the country like a vaudevillian revival show with a fervor for music. The New York City-based familial collective performs with frenetic energy and unflinching optimism. In this performance, the band celebrates nineteen hundred and seventy-three. From getting it on with Marvin Gaye to the yellow brick road with Elton John, it was a year filled with such fabulous music that they feel it should be spelled out in full! That year also brought us Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, Stevie Wonder’s Innervisions, Herbie Hancock’s Headhunters and a long list that goes on and on. Join Sammy Miller and the Congregation for their fresh take on these classics…fifty years later. Are you ready to get it on?
