Basketball fans can help support the Peninsula College women’s basketball team get back to the Northwest Athletic Conference championship by participating in the annual Crab Fest 5K Saturday, October 12 at 11 a.m., starting at the Port Angeles City Pier.

The event, a fundraiser for Peninsula College women’s basketball, is open to runners and walkers of all ages. The entry fee is $35 and participants will go home with a CrabFest mug. Registration is available on Peninsula College’s athletics web page under event tickets or on race day starting at 9:30 a.m. The run starts at 11 a.m. on the Waterfront Trail at City Pier.
