Come on down to the Gateway Center for the Fourth annual Crab Revival from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday where the Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival will be dishing up more than just cooked crustaceans.
The whole family is invited for a big serving of gospel music, joy, community spirit and breakfast! Director of the Crab Revival, Michael Rivers, will welcome one and all with a sing along and then introduce the Peninsula Men’s Gospel Singers. After the performance by the gospel singers, Michael will offer words of peace and lead the “congregation” in more favorites old and new. Then Rivers will join forces with his son David Isaac Rivers for some revival songs, then more great gospel from Standing on Shoulders, the new band with Abby Mae Latson and Dillan Witherow. This fantastic program will conclude with a sing along of familiar hymns and a blessing for the day.
The Peninsula Men’s Gospel Singers is a group of men who love to sing and represents over a half a dozen churches and denominations on the Olympic Peninsula. Now in their 13th season and back under the direction of founder Michael Rivers, the group performs traditional, contemporary and ancient gospel music. It’s a real treat to hear these men’s voices. Accompanied by Penny Hall and signer Karen Coles, the Singers create music that is enjoyable for all age listeners!
