CRABFEST 5K FUN RUN
Area basketball fans can help the Peninsula College women’s basketball team get back to the Northwest Athletic Conference championship by participating in the annual Crab Fest 5K Saturday, October 7, at 11:00 am at the Port Angeles City Pier.
The event, a fund raiser for Peninsula College women’s basketball, is open to runners and walkers of all ages. The entry fee is $35 and participants will go home with a Crab Fest mug. Registration is available on Peninsula College’s athletics web page under event tickets or on race day starting at 9:30 am. The run starts at 11:00 am on the Waterfront Trail at City Pier.
How you are helping
“This is one of the primary fundraisers for coach Ali Crumb and her women’s basketball team,” said Rick Ross, associate dean for athletics and student life. “This run/walk offers a great low-key way for area fans to support that program.”
The PC men’s basketball team also raises funds at the annual Crab Fest celebration, the weekend of October 7-9, by helping with other aspects of the festival, Ross said.

Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers men/women. The top 5 racers in each division will have their names given to the local newspaper and the winners will be awarded two FREE Crab Dinners!
