Take a walk out on the pier or on the beach. Climb the pier tower for magnificent views of the harbor and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Check out the historical murals about the Elwha River Dams. Family friendly food and refreshments (scroll down) can be enjoyed at one of the picnic tables while you watch the Grab-a-Crab-Derby, or the 5K Fun Run on Saturday.

Check out more than 75 juried crafts, merchants, nonprofit and sponsor booths.

Join in or just have fun watching the Wilder Auto and High Tides Seafood Grab-a-Crab Derby.

Purchase a whole, cleaned, cooked and chilled Crab to Go. Take it home or back to your hotel…you can even take it on the Coho ferry back to Victoria!

FEIRO MARINE LIFE CENTER

Get a close-up, real-time view of the ocean and tidepools!

The Feiro Marine Life Center showcases sea stars, crabs, scallops, anemones, fish and a giant Pacific octopus, all collected within 20 miles of Port Angeles from the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Get a hands-on view at the microscope station and check out some of the area’s natural history through displays of whale bones and shells, sculptures and murals, and three touch tanks.

The Marine Life Center is a fun, safe and easy way for people of all ages and physical abilities to experience the marine waters of the North Olympic Peninsula.

The admission fee is $4 for adults and $2 for youth ages 3-17. Children under 3 are free. Hours are 10am-5pm daily through October 8, 2017.
