In the 7,000 square foot food
pavilion, Windermere Real Estate Crab
Central, you’ll find an old-fashioned Crab
Feed complete with large kettles of fresh crab served with fresh organic
corn and cole slaw. The bounty also
includes crab cakes and crab rolls, wild salmon, oysters, mussels, and clams,
more than 25 individual dishes prepared by Olympic Peninsula chefs. Wine
tasting is provided by local wineries, there is Northwest beer and other
beverages, great live music, and more.
Get crabbing and join in the Grab a Crab Tank Derby, sponsored by Hightide Seafood and Wilder Auto, Saturday and
Sunday, from 10am-4pm! Located on the Port Angeles Pier, participate in this
unorthodox derby by crabbing from large holding tanks using crab snares and
bait. Festival
volunteers will be on hand to show you how to catch, cook and clean the famous
crustaceans. Catch a tagged crab and you could win a prize. You can purchase the crabs to take home cooked or uncooked! Also
on the pier are more than 75 crafts and merchants booths, more food, and
children’s activities.
The First Federal Savings & Loan Education Pavilion at the Gateway Center features on-going cooking demonstrations on the Olympic
Memorial Hospital Chefs Stage, with a wealth of renowned chefs all under cover. Regional nonprofit organizations will also host environmental,
marine, and agricultural exhibits.

Festival is produced by Olympic Peninsula Celebrations and the Port Angeles
