The Old Fashioned Crab Feed, complete with large kettles of fresh crab served with fresh organic corn and cole slaw, is just one of the delicacy’s offered in the John L. Scott Crab Central Pavilion at the 2007 Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival, October 13th & 14th. The bounty also includes items such as crab cakes and crab rolls, wild salmon, oysters, mussels, and clams, with more than 30 individual dishes prepared by from Olympic Peninsula chefs. Restaurants that participated in the 2006 festival included Bella Italia, The Port Angeles Crab House, Thai Peppers, and Togas, along with specialties from Olympic Seafood, Mystery Bay Seafood, and Nashs. the menu finished with Desert from friends of the Field and Crab Festival Espressos. North Olympic Sound Wineries presented hand crafted wines from seven area wineries: Black Diamond Winery, Camaraderie Cellars, Fairwinds Winery, Harbinger Winery, Lost Mountain Winery, Olympic Cellars, and Sorensen Cellars. Pyramid Breweries and Olympic Distributing will have some of the Northwests most popular beers in the beer garden.
On the Pier, you visitors enjoyed great pier food and refreshments. Wild Fire Grill will feature wood fired pizza, crab enchiladas, and an open faced crab sandwich. Caseys Kettle Corn served fresh Kettle Corn, and Princess Valiant Coffee offered fresh roasted organic coffee and gourmet chocolates in the shape of Dungeness Crabs.
