Port Angeles, Wash.,  October 10 , 2012 Top Northwest Chefs Cook-up an Authentic "Sense of Place" at teh 11th Annual Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival. Demonstration Stage and Sunday "Crab Revival Highlight Sustainable Local food Sources ! 
Port Angeles, Wash., Oct. 1, 2012 – Twelve of the Northwest’s finest chefs will indulge the senses of foodies and fun-seekers as each demonstrates his/her personal “best of Olympic Coast Cuisine,” from Dungeness Crab and Summer Squash Donuts with Spicy Bacon Aioli to Northwest Shellfish Risotto, at Port Angeles’ 11th annual Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival. Port Angeles, Wash.,  September 15, 2012 – Get Ready…Here Comes The Crab!  Taste the bounty of the Olympic coast and savor the riches from our sparkling blue waters, magical forests, and organic farms at the 11th Annual Dungeness Crab and Seafood Festival on Saturday-Sunday, October 13-14, 2012 in Port Angeles, Wash.  “Crabfest” is the annual celebration of our region’s diverse bounty - the seafood, agriculture and maritime traditions, and the breathtaking coastal environment that is home to the Dungeness Crab. The Festival takes place downtown at the Port Angeles City Pier, Gateway Center, and Red Lion Hotel overlooking the beautiful Strait of Juan de Fuca. Hours are 10am-8:30pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday. Admission is free and the big top tent provides covered seating for eating and listening!

“Crabfest” is one on of the best seafood festivals in the county: The American Bus Association has named the Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival one of the Top 100 Events in North America for 2011, and Coastal Living Magazine named the Festival one of the Top 10 Coastal Events for 2010.   • Great Downtown Crab Hunt
    The Port Angeles Downtown Association is giving the public a chance to go ‘crabbing’ throughout downtown during the Great Downtown Crab Hunt Oct 8 & 9. Twenty seven businesses will have a crab, “Mr. Claws”, hidden somewhere in the business for customers to find. Once they do they can get their Catch Record card punched at the business and be eligible for prizes. The event coincides with the Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival.

    Port Angeles, Wash., Oct. 3, 2011 – Foodies and fun seekers heading to the 10th Annual Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival will once again delight in the super fresh coastal fare that brings them back year after year – but also experience exotic new dishes with a distinctly Northwest twist prepared by top culinary talent! Twelve chefs from the Olympic Peninsula and beyond will demonstrate and sample seafood savories including Moqueca, a Brazilian-style fish stew, Northwest Paella and pan-seared Alaskan scallops with Marsala sauce on the Gateway Center Chef Demonstration Stage. The presentations will take place on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 9 from
    11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

  • 10th Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival - Graham Kerr is coming!
    GRAHAM KERR “THE GALLOPING GOURMET” TO OPEN PORT ANGELES
    DUNGENESS CRAB AND SEAFOOD FESTIVAL!

    From 1969 to 1971 Graham Kerr, The Galloping Gourmet, brought the art of creative cooking alive for television audiences around the world.  On Saturday, Oct. 8 the iconic chef returns to the stage to kick-off Port Angeles’ 10th Annual Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival, a celebration of the region’s bounty. Following the 11 a.m. opening ceremonies, Kerr will cook-up his famous crab cakes at the Gateway Center Chef Demonstration Stage and talk about his passion for growing and cooking healthy foods. The two-day “Crabfest” event will take place Oct. 8 – 9 at the Port Angeles City Pier, Gateway Center and Red Lion Hotel. Admission is free.read more
