CrabFest Likes Bikes!

NOTE: Port Angeles Likes Bikes! services were provided in 2015 only.

It’s like having ‘valet’ parking for your bike!

Organized by Port Angeles Likes Bikes, CrabFest is excited to encourage the use of bicycles by our entire festival community and throughout the beautiful city of Port Angeles.

Port Angeles Likes Bikes will be staffing the “Crab Festival Bike Corral!” Offering all bike riding visitors to CrabFest a great place to store your bike in addition to expert advice and plenty of helpful maps.

2015 Hours of Crab Festival Bike Corral operation are:

  • FRIDAY, Oct. 9 – noon to 5pm
  • SATURDAY, Oct. 10 10am-6pm
  • SUNDAY, Oct. 11 10am-5pm

(Hint, hint! If you don’t want your prized bike becoming some form of crab bait / crab pot we STRONGLY suggest that all users of the corral MUST return before daily posted closing times! Thank you!)

The Olympic Discovery Trail, our recreation gem, practically runs right through our festival!

Got bike?  You can ride every kind of bicycle imaginable – road, trail, downhill, BMX, tandem, recumbent, trike, training wheel-equipped, e-bikes, unicycle, etc. to the CrabFest Bike Corral.  (Please, no motorized bikes of any kind other than e-bikes.)

Port Angeles Likes Bikes is supported by community organizations such as the Port Angeles City Council and School Board and made financially possible by community businesses and individuals. Their mission is to support events, such as the B2E (Bike to Everywhere Parade), and education that help create a healthier Port Angeles for all. Volunteers encouraged and donations welcome.

Addressing adult and youth cyclists alike, Port Angeles Likes Bikes seeks to become the knowledge hub for:

  • Port Angeles cycling commuters
  • Visitors seeking cycling insights for wonderful rides for both road and mountain bikers
  • Youth and area schools and public safety seeking to educate and equip the next generation of cyclists.
