Friday night PDN Community Crab Feed Tablescape Contest
Win four crab dinners!

What is a tablescape? They are basically creatively designed table arrangements or centerpieces that showcase or highlight a specific object or collection. Tablescapes can also set the mood within a specific place or during a particular event. Tablescaping allows people to express their creative side by adding a personal touch. This is often accomplished through the use of prized collections or specialized themes. Themes are especially important when designing tablescapes. Themes can be based around a particular event, season, hobby, or collection.
Create a tablescape and win the top prize of four Crab Festival dinners at the Penisula Daily News Community Crab Feed.  Enjoy an old fashioned Crab Feed, music, wine & beer at a pre-festival pace and price. Friday Oct. 7th 2010 -Only - 4:00pm to 8:30pm.
Tablescape set up starts at 4:00pm through 5:00pm. Judging will take place at 5:30 p.m. First prize is four full crab dinners; second prize is four ½ crab dinners, and third prize is four festival tee shirts. Whether you win or not you will go to the top of the line for dinner.

Be creative and dress four place settings with your imagination. Entries will be judged on elegance, crabbiness, humor, and or originality. Candles may be used, but not be lit.
